Using information provided by association appraisers and account officers, completes the Real Estate Valuation Report (Short Form Report) which provides an unbiased determination of value for security analysis for current collateral and potential loan collateral for the association. Completes chattel evaluations for current and potential personal property collateral. Research values of agricultural machinery and equipment and use online databases to provide an independent value estimate. Inspect machinery and equipment and maintains a database of local sales. Attends association and external training programs. Understands fundamental appraisal approaches and procedures. Provides administrative support services for the Appraisal Department.

Associates degree in agriculture production, agribusiness, finance or business administration; or comparable experience. Agricultural background preferred.
Agriculture background with experience that demonstrates applicant’s ability to analyze data and communicates clearly.
Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work with, as well as independently of, other appraisal team members.
Excellent computer skills and demonstrated experience with a variety of software applications, including Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Internet and e-mail.
