The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in agricultural investments and crop production management with a focus on the Southeastern Region of the U.S.

General management duties will include supervising and directing all land, grove and farm management activities on properties in the southeastern U.S. and other assigned areas to achieve the investment objectives of AgVictus’ clients.

The candidate will assist with sourcing and underwriting farmland acquisitions and perform periodic sell hold analysis for existing managed landholdings.  This process will require an operating understanding and use of discounted cash flow analysis, internal rate of return and net present value operations via Excel.

It will be required to prepare annual operating budgets in conjunction with onsite farm managers and direct and supervise the negotiation, preparation and administration of crop sales and leases.

As dictated by clients requests periodically the candidate will procure appraisals from third party of qualified appraisers and assist in the compilation of data necessary to value the client's assets.

Skills and Experience Required:

• bachelors degree or higher in agriculture or related field
• minimum of five years of experience in permanent/ field crop Land Management
• supervisory experience or other similar experience in accomplishing work and goals through others
• high level of skill in verbal and written communications
• familiarity with principles of investment and finance
• excellent working knowledge and operation of personal computers in agricultural applications
• the ability and willingness to travel as needed

The position reports to the President of AgVictus. The candidate will be based in the southeastern region of the US., preferably at the AgVictus corporate headquarters in the Atlanta area.
