SUMMARY:
MGW is looking to hire a full-time Farmland Manager.  Our Farmland Managers work directly with landowner clients and manage all aspects of the property on behalf of the owner.  Managing the details for each property is a priority and requires most of your time to be utilized communicating with others and tracking data.  You will also spend some time in the field inspecting properties and meeting with farm operators, contractors, and other business associates.  Ag knowledge, background, and experience is required.  We desire an individual who is looking to be part of our team for the long haul.  You must be a self-starter & self-motivated individual who values and contributes to the success of the entire team.  Starting salary will be based on qualifications and experience.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Manage properties on behalf of the landowner
* Evaluate, negotiate, and prepare leases
* Represent landowner clients and negotiate on their behalf
* Tracking and following up on details on each property
* Communicate verbally and orally with clients, tenants, and others
* Work with and enhance relationships with farm operators and tenants
* Prepare budgets
* Manage finances 
* Keep accurate records
* Maximize profitability and asset values
* Farm visits and inspections
* Recommend and oversee repairs, capital improvements, and conservation practices
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and requirements
