Agility Consultants is currently seeking an Appraisal and Valuation Expert to provide a wide range of valuation services. This position prepares technical reviews of areawide market analyses and market trend reports for a federal program involving farmland and conservation. The Appraisal and Valuation Expert also makes recommendations to the client based on their reviews and market data and conducts spot check reviews. The Appraisal and Valuation Expert also assists in the development of training, informational, and guidance materials for the client.
Job Duties Include:
Develops technical reviews of areawide market analyses and market trend reports
Makes recommendations based on appraisal and valuation reviews, spot check reviews and technical reviewer work
Assists in developing/updating process documentation, material for policies, fact sheets, training materials and other related documents
Completes all action items and assignments from on-site visits

Job Requirements:
Associate degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or a related field
Current completion of a UASFLA and USPAP course
Completion of a conservation easement valuation or eminent domain course
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including some experience in performing appraisal reviews
State-certified general real property appraiser in conformance with title XI of FIRREA
In good standing with the licensing authority that issued the state-certification credential as well as no suspensions of the credential
Demonstrated competence in compliance with USPAP in conducting and reviewing appraisals of properties with and without conservation easements of the requested type of easement or property type
Demonstrated competence in ensuring compliance with UASFLA while conducting and reviewing appraisals completed under UASFLA
Ability to learn and utilize federal program systems of record
Excellent researching and analytical skills
Proven communication skills
Ability to write reports and similar materials in an accurate, concise, and an understandable manner
Ability to create and facilitate training seminars
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to operate within timelines
Ability to stay abreast of industry best practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with others as well as a demonstrated ability to work independently
Preferred Job Qualifications:
Job experience in appraising farmland, conservation land, and/or easements
Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Natural Resources, or a related field
